Biografia
Pintor americano, vive em Los Angeles, onde é professor em duas das principais escolas desta cidade. Estudou em Cal Arts nos anos 70 Nas suas próprias palavras: "Penso que a minha pintura tem referências à literatura e à linguagem: metáforas, rimas, narrativas, … uma espécie de teatro imaginário.... exemplos das companhias de teatro que me impressionam: Ariane Mnouchkine e o Theatre du Soleil, Giorgio Strehler e o Piccolo Teatro. Charles Ludlam e o Theatre of the Ridiculous. Drag. Teatro de marionettes, kabuki and bunraku do Japão, kathakail da Índia; Circo; Commedia dell'arte... A narrativa. é outro elemento que preenche a minha vida no estúdio. Gosto de novelas plenas de invenção narrativa, histórias de fadas, As Mil e Uma Noites, de romances do século XIX, de fantasias pornográficas… o meu trabalho, pode-se inscrever numa investigação de identidade e sexualidade que é predominante neste país." Expôs na PPOW Gallery em Nova Iorque, em 1997.
