Biography
The Spanish artist Arroyo has worked in painting, sculpture, ceramics and has designed for the stage. After working as a journalist in 1957, he left his country and went to Paris where he was simultaneously a painter and journalist. Between 1968 and 1972 he lived in Milan, returning to Paris in 1973. His work has moved from Expressionism to Realism and has often been the source of considerable controversy.
