Alfredo Caballero, painter and sculptor who was born in La Habana but adopted Nicaraguan nationality, is a figurative artist, with studies in art with a long way as an artist.
His work gets hold of the particular qualities of the classical feminine figure: Venus, biblical characters as Judith, or divas, but also sphynxes, Chryst, dead animals, self portraits with goat heads, etc.
He has shown in several group shows in the United States, some art galleries in Nes York and Wisconsin. Special notice deserves the scenery for a choreography by Eva Gasteazo, presented at the Whitney Museum of American Art of New York.
